Introduction to Network Psychometric Analysis in Psychology
Start: 29 August, 2023
End: 01 September, 2023
Registration open: from 6/4/2023 to 22/8/2023
The Psychometric Network Analysis approach is emerging as a complement to latent variable models for the investigation of the complexity of psychological processes. Using network models it is possible to represent psychological processes as systems of interacting elements and investigate their dynamics of change over time.
The Summer School offers an introduction to this approach, considering its application to both cross-sectional and longitudinal data. Practices will be proposed through the use of the statistical software R. The Summer School also includes the participation of Prof. Sacha Epskamp as Invited Lecturer.
AIMS
At the end of the activities, participants will have acquired the following knowledge and skills, attested by the issuance of an Open badge after passing an assessment test consisting of a multiple-choice test and attendance of at least 75% of the total number of hours:
Knowledge
Skills
STRENGHT
TARGET AUDIENCE
PhD students, adjuct professors, research fellows, researchers, professors
PROGRAM
Lectures, applications and exercises, and discussion of own research data. Exercises will be conducted with the R software of which a preliminary knowledge is recommended but not mandatory. Materials and videos introducing the use of the R software prepared by the lecturers will be shared as preparatory material at the Summer School.
